CAV Motor Starter Range The CAV range of manual motor starters provide protection against Phase failure, overload and short circuit protection in a compact package. The CAV2 can be supplied with both head and *side mounting auxiliary contacts*, while the CAV3 will only accept a side mount auxiliary.
An attractive IP 55 plastic enclosure is also available for the CAV2. *Note: Side mounting auxiliary switches should be fitted on the Left Hand Side Only. A lock off feature is provided as standard and an automatic test switch is conveniently mounted on the front face.
